Another shot focusing on Mood. Funny thing this was shot from a moving car in Poland. I wanted to stop and shot the sunset instead I had to get my timing right to get a subject, focus, and shutter. It was shot with a tilt-shift (which is all manual), so you could image the technical challenge this posed. The tree just sticks out, gave me this whole thought of Adam and Eve and the tree of knowledge, hence the title.
I love photography. I love photography even more when things work out.
Knowledge is no matter of time. If you have good books You have the key to knowledge. And knowledge is power.
10 Year Project
Each month I take a favourite photo from ten years back, and re-edit it, using current tools and knowledge.
This one seems to have gained a little something from the changes in tech. Plus I straightened it better. :-)

I am beginning to wonder --
recently it seems the "power is power" and knowledge seems to have no place in American politics.
On Tuesday, the director of the US National Counterterrorism Center, Joe Kent, resigned over the war in Iran, urging Trump to "reverse course".
In a letter, Kent argued that Iran posed no imminent threat to the US, despite the administration's repeated claims to the contrary.
Recently, Donald Trump made several blunt comments about Joe Kent after Kent resigned from his role as director of the National Counterterrorism Center in March 2026.
What Trump said:
Trump dismissed Kent as “weak on security”.
He said it was “a good thing that he’s out” of the administration.
He criticised Kent’s judgement, saying people who think Iran isn’t a threat are “not smart” or “not savvy.”
Kent resigned in protest over the U.S. war with Iran, arguing the conflict was unnecessary and based on misleading information.
Trump, by contrast, has defended the war as necessary for national security and based on credible threats.
And the weirdest bit of all - - - Trump nominated Kent in February 2025 to be director of the National Counterterrorism Center.

At the southern end of the Earth, a NASA plane carrying a team of scientists and a sophisticated instrument suite to study ice is returning to surveying Antarctica. For the past eight years, Operation IceBridge has been on a mission to build a record of how polar ice is evolving in a changing environment.
The information IceBridge has gathered in the Antarctic, which includes data on the thickness and shape of snow and ice, as well as the topography of the land and ocean floor beneath the ocean and the ice, has allowed scientists to determine that the West Antarctic Ice Sheet may be in irreversible decline. Researchers have also used IceBridge data to evaluate climate models of Antarctica and map the bedrock underneath Antarctic ice.

Back during more exciting times on CN, while waiting for an entirely different train with a standard cab leader I was surprised by this one led by BCOL 4646. It's seen ascending the York Sub at the Beare Flyover with a widecab Dash 8 trailing, which itself is now no longer on the CN roster to my knowledge.
to see this spectacle, the preparation was getting up early, a one hour journey and the knowledge of this viewpoint. Be honest I was 30 minutes to late for sunrise on this location. The last minutes of driving the sky greeted me with a glow and gives me doubt that I will see a nice mood on my dream location. At the location I was breathless cause running down to the riverside, built up the tripod, mounting the filer and setup the camera. But I was on time when the sun breaks trough the horizon.
