If dinosaurs were as loud and annoyingly happy in the mornings as certain birds are, I’m not surprised they went extinct.

A couple of workers head back over the field as 802006 and 802017 flash past working 1C77 10:35 Paddington to Exeter St Davids.

One of our main intentions with the Montana Rail Link was to get a photo of an SD45 locomotive. We knew there was one in the area, but weren’t too exactly sure where. We eventually got a message from an MRL employee saying that this train was stopped at Carney siding and we were only 20 minutes from there! We soon found the pair of standard cab SD locomotives and went a ways north of Carney for the shot. Glad to get this guy knocked out early so we can focus on other photo opportunities the next two days.
