A mottled emigrant butterfly on the Jamaican spike flowers. The texture on it's wings is remarkable, and the direction of light here enhances it just right.
Looks pretty regal here, even if he has had to get a bit muddy feeding after a downpour.
One of the few shots I took where consditions kindly conspired to provide a very dark background (naturally) but good light on the King Vutlure.
Taken in the Carrivean Foothills, Costa Rica.
Last summer, we visited Frederiksborg Castle in Denmark. I used this picture as the background for the Lego mini figures

I'm by no means a mushroom specialist and also not the biggest fan in the world in terms of mushroom dishes but I think this might be a nice penny bun. The forest below Easdon Tor in Dartmoor National Park was full of all sorts of fungi, the shamrocks added a nice bit of additional interest to the woodland scene. I would however not dare to pick any as I have no idea about what is delicious and what is lethal....
Here a video of our walk up to Easdon Tor and through the woods:

The King's Chef Diner looks to be an old Valentine Diner. Found as we were casually leaving Colorado Springs near the Downtown.
From the lounge room we could see a king parrot eating the seeds in the camellia tree. I was lucky enough to be able to sneak outside and get a photo.

112. Clancy, 3yrs (on Nov 16)
Today we're back to cruisin' the Mer Bleue Conservation Area.
Two weeks ago I (Clancy) contracted an eye infection that after treatment returned to take over both eyes about five days ago. It's pretty well cleared up now, but there remains still some puffiness and discoloration.
News Flash: It's my third birthday on Monday, so we'll be posting something then instead of Throwback Tuesday.

Clicked this at a friend's house before a lovely sunset. It was a fun photoshoot as my friend did not mind showing all wonderful (quirky) poses and jumps for the camera. I like how the golden lining showed up on this one.
Have fun with your frens today y'all :)
