The Bedford Channel is a small side channel of the Fraser River near the north end of the Township of Langley, on the south side of McMillan Island. The pair of islands—Brae Island and McMillan Island protect the riverfront of Fort Langley.

This keyhole is on a small sewing table which belonged to my paternal grandmother. The year on the inside of the lid is the same as my birth year.

This is an original brass keyhole of a walnut 19th century corner cupboard. To highlight a certain three-dimensionality, I practised a back lighting with a small LED torch from a rear slot of the lock. My contribution of the Macro Mondays theme of this week. HMM!
Peeking through this Keyhole
Reveals a quite dark Soul
But when looking AT this Keyhole
One sees a Smiling Soul
Just another Point of View
Of something you never before knew
Everything has two different Sides
The dark Side even the Moon always hides
So always look on the bright Side of Life
