This week's theme of the Happy Caturday group is "Keeping warm" and it's a theme that pretty much sums up what Tofu does at this time of year. He only goes outside for five minutes at a time and then he returns either to the radiator or to one of his warm blankets. I can't blame him as I don't like the cold weather either. Happy Caturday !
I apologize for my absence lately, due to my work and family issues I had no time for Flickr and not even for taking photos. Hopefully things are beginning to calm down now and will be more present on Flickr again.

Keeping me in his sights in the icy waters of Hamilton Harbour. If you view large you can see the beautiful beads of water on the feathers around his head and neck.

Such strength in small things. Jewellery wire is so delicate, but it is tough and durable and keeps these teeny weeny beads and other larger bling together.
Creating bracelets, necklaces and earrings is such a wonderful and therapeutic hobby. Much like when we take photographs, we become completely engrossed in our subject matter and all cares fall away for the time being.

Like the Spring season fresh flowers can keep the days air so clean. Enjoy all seasons with a passion. Spring happens with great anticipation after a long cold Winter. The colors, freshness and the light rains give us this new season to enjoy. Gratitude and Kindness line our path daily to help us to enjoy our lives.
People gathered around a fountain in Karlsplatz, Munich on Thursday, with temperatures in the high 30's.
We came across this Black-Crowned Night Heron (Nycticorax nycticorax) just off the trail at Circle B Bar Reserve (CBBR) near Lakeland, Florida. Initially, he appeared to be sleeping but then he opened his left eye. It may be that one way birds lose body heat is through their beaks. This guy seems to be keeping his beak warm by tucking it under his feathers. He measures 23-28 inches (58-70 cm) from beak-tip to tail-tip.
