Vas'ka didn't like other dogs except Mot'ka. But he wasn't afraid of them either. When guests came to visit us with a cockapoo puppy, Vas'ka looked at it with interest, but when the puppy approached, inviting him to play, Vas'ka threatened him with his paw.

A big sea runs into the western breakwater of the marina, the waves were exceptional, as you can see they exploded up to fifty feet into the air. A little contrast and de-haze applied made this shot even more dramatic.

Die denkmalgeschützte Pfarrkirche St. Konrad im Nordwesten Karlsruhe wurde von Architekt Werner Groh 1955 -1957 erbaut und gehört zu den bedeutendsten Sakralbauten der 50er Jahre auf dem Gebiet der Erzdiözese Freiburg.
Dem Eintretenden bietet sich der Innenraum als ein großer, lichtdurchfluteter Raum dar, der gleichmäßig von den Ziegelsteinmauern eingefasst wird. Durch die schräg gestellten Seitenwände wirkt der Raum wie von einem geschichteten Mauerwerk gerahmt. Diese Abstufungen setzen sich im Altarrund fort: Kein einziges Fenster ist vom Eingang her zu sehen. Das Licht fällt durch die schräg gestellten Wandteile stets auf den Altarbereich. Vom Altar zum Eingang blickend hingegen ist der Raum nur durch Fensterflächen eingefasst. Auf den Seitenmauern sitzt die flache, geflochtene Holzriemendecke auf. Der Knoten der Decke liegt über dem Altarbereich, von dem aus die Riemen sich zum Kirchenschiff auffächern.

Standing in the Saint James Quarter, just in front of the modern (and controversial) W Hotel, I turned the camera to the right, towards the stairs, and above them the large windows of the Ka Pao Asian restaurant, then zoomed in a bit closer for a second snap.

Made by Aurangzeb, the sixth ruler of Mughal Dynasty, in the memory of his beloved mother. People often confuse this monument as his proclamation of love for his wife (Biwi) since very few people know that mother, in Farsi is also called as "Bibi".
When Vas'ka wants to cuddle, he collapses on his back and waits to be picked up...

Die zentrale Wendeltreppe führt in die Laterne von wo man die Fächerstadt ansehen kann.
Vom alten Schloß blieben nur die Gerundmauern stehen. Wir stehen hier in einem Gebäude aus den 50er Jahren des letzten Jhs. Außen Schlossoptik, innen Museum.
Den Blick von der Laterne auf die Stadt zeigt "loudstone" in S/W.
