Like castles made of sand,
Like shapes in clouds
Like water upon fire
Pouring down
Like breaking an old pact
Like falling out
Like falling in ----
...a trap that you've made sleepwalking
You're just tricking yourself
Be aware, my friend,
It may scare, but it's not the intent
People change like colors bleed
As I sense a shade of you in me
Like getting along well
Like doing fine
Then suddenly breaking
(Suddenly breaking)
Suddenly breaking --- just in time
Like meanings we give to words
Misread, misheard
Like failing to see the point in the song
But still sing along
Be aware, my friend,
it may scare, ain't that the sole intent?
People change like colors bleed
As I sense
a shade
of you
in me

The River Rose, on the Newburgh Landing, Newburgh, NY. They do tours up and down the Hudson River.....but there was no one out waiting to go on a tour this day!
Although there are 2 people over on the dock getting their motor boat ready to take out, in hopes....
While I was driving up the NY Thruway I could see the fog covering the mountains, and was trying to think of a place I could capture it....then I remember the Newburgh Landing!
The sun came out about 40 minutes after I got there....enough time for me! lol
Be well all...

Scanned from a 1970 copy of Arizona Highway's magazine. About a dozen older artists artwork was featured in this issue. There was an order form at the back of the magazine if you wanted to order 23 x 17 prints on heavy carousel art paper, suitable for framing.
Prints were $5.00 each or 8 for $32.00
#060 is a macro I worked on the final hour before midnight tonight. Had this picture in mind already this morning. The effect of the second hand I discovered just by change. I like it, you can actually read the exposure time of this shot, let's see, who discovers it first;)
I chose to do a project for 2012 to improve my photography. The plan is to take pictures on as many days as possible and post a picture of 2012 each day.
2015 Weekly Alphabet Challenge, week 37, J for Just in time
This week we were in Dubai, where my husband had meetings. I was mostly staying in the hotel on Tuesday nursing a bad cold, but I did want to catch a glimpse of the sunset if at all possible, so I went wandering along the hotel corridor of our floor to catch it and did find a place to see it after all and in time ! Just in time to capture the bird hovering between the pyramid of the WAFI mall and the setting sun. With the setting sun in the hazy sky of Dubai (worst general air quality of the whole area, although the neighbouring countries had those terrible sandstorms at this time) the skyline silhouettes make for a futuristic film scene environment a la Mad Max, I thought :-)
