With internal support framing in place, basement ceiling nailed down, backfilling done, and a plastic protective cover: the basement is ready for winter. Thanks to the crews that did most of this: Matt, Dale, Thor, Sean, Fred, Steve, Dawn, Bonnie and Jason.
Just in time!
Just in time to say "A Delightful Monday to you all!" Hope you have had a great weekend too. The Art Show was a great success and what a blessing to get a number of custom orders to fulfill. Met so many nice folks too. Photography & Calligraphy can take your down many different adventurous avenues of enjoyment and blessing! So with fulfilling the custom orders and continuing my 300 piece Calligraphy job...I will be around as I can to enjoy your amazing work! Thanks for your part in making this fun! You're a keeper!
I see something special and show it to the camera. The moment is held until someone sees it. Then it is theirs.

Last wednesway my sister and I went for a ride in the Alblasserwaard to enjoy the wintery landscape. We really hoped for some birds of prey and wildlife. Parked the car along the side where we saw a buzzard, white egret and some ducks. While concentrating on the buzzard in hope he would come a bit closer we saw two hares running across the field. When one of them came a bit closer I tried to focus on him and I was just in time. Also got some shots of the other one running in the field. My sister had bad luck....the hare was mostly behind the tree from her point of view.

I've shot this place behind the food lion in town before but used a 35mm and wasnt totally thrilled with the results and wanted to go back to use a 50. Its about the size of an old Kmart and just full of stuff of all kinds. It used to be a textile mill, Upholstery shop and other things. Now its for collecting .
I was out with a photographer friend yesterday and mentioned it since we were heading towards town and she said yeah lets check it out.
I got out and set up the tripod, release, CPL and focus and I hear someone coming out of the back. He looks at me says, " There must be better things to shoot than the junk in there". I disagreed and said the beauty of decay is underrated sir. He then laughed and agreed and told me about his father who was a photographer way back when he was a kid. So he told me a bout how good his father was and wished he pursued it more.
Turns out his son owns the building and just sold it , its scheduled for demolition soon he told me so I asked him if he would mind posing downstairs since he was part of its history, he agreed.
This is Tim down below ,shot through a broken out window on the right side. What you see hanging is the roof falling in , hence the light from above and the hot spots everywhere. The CPL was about no match for those but they work with it I think.. Thank you to Tim and Joyce!

Thanks to all of you for checking out my work, appreciate all of you!
Back in July, we hoped to walk this 11 km trail during our holiday and with stormy weather forecast in the afternoon, we managed it just in time before a heavy downpour. Along the way, we found several plastic water bottles carelessly discarded along the trail or stuffed into crevices - including at this lookout. Please....! Don't leave your garbage behind in these pristine places. Carry it out!
Our daughter Maeve and son-in-law Corey got married on 3/14, just in time, the weekend before everything closed down here. No one got sick, and it was a joyous time. This is from their wedding rehearsal.
As a photographer, it is not for me to judge, but to capture a moment in time. Vancouver 20240527-307

Action shot sport photography in St-Charles-Boroméee this summer. Portrait of a man digging the Beach Volleyball and getting his hand under the ball to save it just in time. Summer tournaments are almost over as autumn indoor season is about to start soon.

3 black crows were sitting on a fence
Watching the world pass them by
Laughing at humanity and its pretense
Wondering where next to fly...
And they cackled in joy and dove through the air
Like the winds of a hurricane
And they spread their wings as if to declare
"Onward , let freedom ring!"
3 black crows are sitting in a tree
Looking down on mankind
Loving how it feels to be so free
Leaving us far behind...
And they cackled in joy and dove through the air
Like the winds of a hurricane
And they spread their wings as if to declare
"Onward , let freedom ring!"

Whenever I have some hard experiences, I think about it for a while trying to find solution, if I couldn’t... I tried to not stay in the stress mode for longer than 10 minutes, I try to do anything to keep my mind busy, or listen to some cheerful music, like this funny one, it always makes me smile and force me to sing with it.....
And say: “ok, when my mind is clear again I will find some way... it will come by itself in the right time...”
And so, most of the time while I’m walking in streets, either I’m smile or sometimes I laugh, no not because of the sun !!! .... that why people also look at me as I’m weird, as I said before.... why ? ... because I’m always thinking, about a funny email I received from a friend, a lovely comment from another friend, a game we had, or a conversation we made..... any thing that brought the laugh and joy to me in a moment, and I keep getting them back when ever I need them.... and so, I’m always ツ
Even at home, Ma always ask me: "What are you laughing at ??" .... and I tell her about .... You !!! ツ
So, get those moments back when you need them, if you couldn’t........ just imagine 3 black crows sitting on a fence laughing noisily...... but I’m sure you can ツ
Took this snap in the graveyard in Lahore...
