Camera: Orion Starshoot DSI II

Tried to do a little more processing. Think I was able to bring the GRS out a little better without overdoing it. I just need a bit more practice with processing (and maybe some better tools). I also mirrored and flipped this image.

A crop of the first successful picture of Jupiter and its four Galilean moons that I made for our astronomy project. It's great considering that it was taken by focusing on Jupiter with a telescope that's not exactly state of the art (blurry picture to begin with), propping the camera on a stack of books next to the eyepiece (since we didn't have a tripod) and manually focusing on the real image produced by the eyepiece. All this had to be done quickly before Jupiter moves out of view of the telescope. There was also supstantial light polution from the city and the almost-full moon right next to Jupiter.
