[ENG] The Church of San Esteban, located in Betrén, Valle de Arán (Lleida, Spain), is a transitional temple from Romanesque to Gothic built in the 13-14th centuries. Highlight the head of three polygonal apses and the extraordinary portal with four profusely decorated pointed archivolts that narrate the Last Judgment through 60 characters representing angels announcing with horns the event, the resurrection of the dead (emerging from their graves), musicians with their instruments, artisans, farmers, kings and commoners, chosen and condemned. La Iglesia de San Esteban, situada en Betrén, Valle de Arán (Lleida, España), es un templo de transición del románico al gótico construido en los siglos XIII-XIV. Through the testimony and fellowship of witnesses from The Church of Almighty God, he fully determines that Almighty God is the return of the Lord Jesus. He joyfully accepts Almighty God's work of the last days and finds the path to enter the kingdom of heaven. His chance at the heavenly kingdom finally becomes reality.

Lorestān bronze :
Lorestān bronze is a set of Early Iron Age bronze artifacts of various individual forms which have been recovered from Lorestān and Kermanshah areas in west-central Iran.They include a great number of weapons, ornaments,tools,and ceremonial objects.The artifacts were created by a major group of Persian aboriginals known as Lurs.
Lorestani Bronze objects were taken illegally to Europe via Mesopotamia and to cover up most of the items taken they called them Mesopotamian while in fact there are no similarities what so ever between the Persian Bronze objects excavated in Lorestan 1943 to 1968,which were dated to be from 5th to 4th millennium BC.The hair pins and four men holding a cup were typical of that period which once again separates Iranian development from whatever was going on in so called Sumerian areas.Typical Lorestāni-style objects belong to the (Iranian) Iron Age (c. 1250-650 BC).
The term "Lorestān bronze" is not normally used for earlier bronze artifacts from Luristan between the fourth millennium BC and the (Iranian) Bronze Age (c. 2900-1250 BC).These bronze objects were similar to those found in Mesopotamia and on the Iranian plateau.
In 1930 a large quantity of canonical Lorestān bronze artifacts appeared on the Iranian and European antiquities markets as a result of plundering of tombs in this region.Since 1938 several scientific excavations were conducted by American,Danish,British,Belgian,and Iranian archaeologists on the graveyards with stone tombs in the northern Pish Kuh valleys and the southern Pusht Kuh of Lorestān.

After repeatedly experiencing the judgment, chastisement, pruning, and dealing in God's words and constantly reflecting on herself, she is finally able to clearly see that the arrogance, conceit, highly competitive character, and desire for fame and prestige of her evil, satanic nature are rooted deep in her heart, and that it is these things which lead her to only pursue fame and status instead of pursing the truth in her belief in God, and which unconsciously led her down the path of the antichrist, that of resisting God, in her belief. She realizes the importance of pursuing the truth in her belief in God, and that if she only focuses on pursuing fame and status, she will never gain the truth or life, and will be abandoned and eliminated by God in the end. After she understands these aspects of truth, she swears an oath: She will emulate Peter, and pursue the path of truth and being perfected. Afterward, with the correct goal to pursue, she focuses on practicing the truth and entering the reality of God's word, and finally enters the correct life path of pursuing truth and fulfilling the duties of a creature of God. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. … Therefore be you also ready: for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man comes.” When that day comes, the Son of man Himself will not know it. The Son of man refers to the incarnate flesh of God, a normal and ordinary person. Even this person does not Himself know, so how could you know?
There are those who say that God Himself said that He would arrive on a cloud. It is true that God said so Himself, but don’t you know that no man can fathom the mysteries of God? Don’t you know that no man can explain the words of God? Are you certain, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that you were enlightened and illuminated by the Holy Spirit? Surely it was not that the Holy Spirit showed you in such a direct manner? Was it the Holy Spirit who instructed, or did your own conceptions lead you to think so? You said, “This was said by God Himself.” But we cannot use our own conceptions and minds to measure the words of God. As for the words spoken by Isaiah, can you with absolute certainty explain his words? Do you dare to explain his words? Since you do not dare to explain the words of Isaiah, why do you dare to explain the words of Jesus? Who is more exalted, Jesus or Isaiah? Since the answer is Jesus, why do you explain the words spoken by Jesus? Would God tell you of His work in advance? Not a single creature can know, not even the messengers in heaven, nor the Son of man, so how could you know?

Some people believe that after the Lord Jesus resurrected and ascended to heaven, the Holy Spirit descended to work on man on the day of Pentecost. He reproved the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. When we receive the work of the Holy Spirit and repent to the Lord for our sins, we are experiencing the Lord's judgment. The work done by the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost should be the judgment work of God in the last days. Are we correct in the way we receive it? Sulla parete destra è possibile ammirare un ciclo di affreschi del Nuovo Testamento, capolavoro di Lippo e Federico Memmi. Si tratta di un ciclo pittorico di grande potenza evocativa e di splendore iconografico, chiaramente ispirato ai canoni di Simone Martini. Sulla parete di sinistra sono narrate le Storie del Vecchio Testamento, realizzate nel 1367 da Bartolo di Fredi.

The church walls are entirely covered with frescoes that tell the stories of the Old and New Testament painted by famous painters of the fourteenth century Sienese school. On the right wall you can admire a cycle of frescoes of the New Testament, a masterpiece of Lippo and Federico Memmi. It is a series of paintings of great evocative power and iconographic splendor, clearly inspired by Simone Martini canons. On the left wall recounts the stories of the Old Testament, made in 1367 by Bartolo di Fredi.
I was over at the Glendale Central Library -- the first time in months -- and I saw this display in the room they reserve for special art exhibits. This one is by the Korean American artist HanHo. It was inspired by Michelangelo's "The Last Judgment," from the Renaissance. While that one was inspired by the Book of Revelation, this one takes a modern spin on how the need for peace and humanity is essential over the inexorable drive for war and destruction. This image changes colors as the patron studies it, adding further to its surreal nature.

Decided to start the newmoon window early with a trip to Lulworth Cove .
Wanting and itching to experiment a different type of edit for a still image I've never done before ,

I thought I had the correct composition but it was failure on my side as I forgot to enable the GPS setting on my phone for photopills in a good signal area so it was kinda hit n miss but forgetting the moon would wipe out the milky way early too so it was all wrong and to top it all off unexpected cloud rolled in from nowhere that wasn't spose to be there GGggrrrrrr .
Well I've been spot on 100% this season with milkyway nights regarding composition and timing also weather so one screwed up night is not so bad I guess 😂😂😂 .

This was my first shoot with the lovely Rachel C. I think she found me on Instagram, we started following each other, and against her better judgment she shot with me - and what a fun shoot it was. We shot at a highway underpass on a decent day in March 2023. Rachel is pure Country, very quiet and sweet. I think she liked shooting with me since we're already making plans for future shoots. Life is good!

Giovanni da Modena (1379-1455) - Last judgment - Chapel of the Magi or Bolognini Chapel (1410) - Basilica of San Petronio Bologna
E’ l'unica che conserva quasi intatta la decorazione originaria. La cancellata gotica in marmo fu disegnata da Antonio di Vincenzo (1400). Dipinti da Jacopo di Paolo il "Polittico ligneo" e le finestre policrome. Le pareti furono sontuosamente affrescate da Giovanni da Modena con un ciclo raffigurante: "Il Paradiso" e "l'Inferno" a sinistra, nella parete di destra "Le storie dei Re Magi", nella parete di fondo "Consacrazione di San Petronio" e scene della sua vita.
It's the only one that preserves the original decoration almost intact. The marble gothic cancel was designed by Antonio di Vincenzo (1400). Painted by Jacopo di Paolo the "Wood Polytic" and the polychrome windows. The walls were richly frescoed by Giovanni da Modena with a cycle depicting "Heaven" and "Hell" on the left, on the right wall "The stories of the Kings Magi", in the back wall "Consecration of San Petronio" and Scenes of his life.
If Sistine chapel has a magnificent painting by Michelangelo of the Last Jugment, Notre Dame has the same interpretation scuplted on the central west portal.

Questa tavola dalla forma insolita (rotonda con una base rettangolare) proviene dall'Oratorio di S. Gregorio Nazianzeno a Roma. La rappresentazione del Giudizio Finale si svolge su cinque fasce sovrapposte, ciascuna con una scritta esplicativa in latino: a partire dall'alto, nella prima appare Cristo tra cherubini e angeli; nella seconda Cristo davanti a un altare tra due angeli e i dodici Apostoli. Nella terza, più complessa, sono tre raffigurazioni: a sinistra S. Paolo che guida gli eletti, al centro la Vergine e Santo Stefano che intercedono per i Santi innocenti, a destra tre opere di misericordia (vestire gli ignudi, visitare i carcerati, dare da bere agli assetati). Nella quarta fascia si illustra la resurrezione dei morti (a sinistra pesci e bestie feroci sputano le membra dei corpi divorati, a destra due angeli svegliano i morti nelle tombe al suono delle trombe apocalittiche). Nella base della tavola, infine, troviamo l'Inferno e la Gerusalemme Celeste con la Vergine tra gli eletti.
L'opera, firmata da Nicolaus e Johannes è, dalla maggior parte della critica, assegnata alla seconda metà del XI secolo.
This unusual shaped table (round with a rectangular base) comes from the Oratory of St. Gregory of Nazianzeno in Rome. The representation of the Final Judgment takes place on five overlapping bands, each with an explanatory text in Latin: from the top, in the first appears Christ between cherubim and angels; in the second Christ before an altar between two angels and the twelve Apostles. In the third, more complex, there are three depictions: on the left St. Paul guiding the elect, in the center the Virgin and St Stephen who intercede for the innocent Saints, to the right three works of mercy (dressing the naked, visiting prisoners, giving to drink thirsty). After the jolly juvenile Jester joins the jam-packed Jury, the Judge justifies the Joker, while the Jury jeers against the judgment. The Janitor joins the joyful Joker and jaws about the joke he jumbled in jest. The job of this jerk was to jinx the jar of jerky, but he was jealous of the jovial junior on his journey.

February Alphabet Fun Month: 2019 Edition
Gherardo Starnina (Florence, c. 1354/1360 - before 1413) - Last Judgment (1396-1401) 87.4 x 52.4 cm - Alte Pinakothek, Munich
Active from 1387 to 1409, according to Giorgio Vasari was formed with Antonio Veneziano and then with Agnolo Gaddi. He was one of the most important painters of the late Gothic current in Italy, which had the opportunity to know training in the circles of the great European courts of the late fourteenth century, since he worked for a certain period in Valencia (about 1380), at the court of John I of Castile. Returned to Florence updated the artistic language of many Florentine painters at the end of the fourteenth century were still anchored in a late Giottismo. He inspired the youthful works of painters such as Lorenzo Monaco and Masolino da Panicale.
Monaco's Last Judgment comes from the Monastery of Miramar, on the island of Majorca. The image of the bay of the Spanish island, with a ship at dock, is the heart of the painting and the link between Heaven and Earth. Above, against a golden background, Christ emerges from the mandorla and sits on the clouds to judge the resurrected. Clad in a blue cloak, he wears an elaborate crusading nimbus on his head and shows the wounds of the crucifixion. Behind him stands the signum crucis, the great cross with nails, the crown of thorns and the titulus. Four angels show the other instruments of the passion: the column of the flagellation, the spear of Longinus, the reed with the sponge and the bucket of vinegar, the scourges. On either side of Jesus are the twelve apostles who make up the heavenly tribunal: each of them is identified by his traditional attribute. At the feet of Jesus two angels in flight sound the long arched whelks and call the dead to wake up and rise for judgment.
Below we see the scene of the resurrection of the dead. From the uncovered sarcophagi emerge the bodies of the resurrected. Many of them are naked or still wrapped in mortal shrouds. Others resurrected wear the habit and tonsure that identifies them as religious. With great timing, the devils pounce on the resurrected ones who receive the sentence of condemnation and brutally drag them towards their infernal destiny.
The damned on the right show consternation and tears at the sad fate that awaits them. Two horrified maidens attempt to escape the devil who pulls them by the hair. We see in the group a pope with the triregnum, a king with the crown, a cardinal with the purple and the biretta, a bishop with the mitre, a friar with the tonsure. Very different is the climate on the opposite side, that of the saved. The characters of the two groups correspond. Even among the righteous, a pope, a sovereign, a queen, nobles and religious are identified. There is no joy or exultation among them but a serene awareness of the grace received that turns into a prayer of thanksgiving.

Questa tavola dalla forma insolita (rotonda con una base rettangolare) proviene dall'Oratorio di S. Gregorio Nazianzeno a Roma. La rappresentazione del Giudizio Finale si svolge su cinque fasce sovrapposte, ciascuna con una scritta esplicativa in latino: a partire dall'alto, nella prima appare Cristo tra cherubini e angeli; nella seconda Cristo davanti a un altare tra due angeli e i dodici Apostoli. Nella terza, più complessa, sono tre raffigurazioni: a sinistra S. Paolo che guida gli eletti, al centro la Vergine e Santo Stefano che intercedono per i Santi innocenti, a destra tre opere di misericordia (vestire gli ignudi, visitare i carcerati, dare da bere agli assetati). Nella quarta fascia si illustra la resurrezione dei morti (a sinistra pesci e bestie feroci sputano le membra dei corpi divorati, a destra due angeli svegliano i morti nelle tombe al suono delle trombe apocalittiche). Nella base della tavola, infine, troviamo l'Inferno e la Gerusalemme Celeste con la Vergine tra gli eletti.

This unusual shaped table (round with a rectangular base) comes from the Oratory of St. Gregory of Nazianzeno in Rome. The representation of the Final Judgment takes place on five overlapping bands, each with an explanatory text in Latin: from the top, in the first appears Christ between cherubim and angels; in the second Christ before an altar between two angels and the twelve Apostles. In the third, more complex, there are three depictions: on the left St. Paul guiding the elect, in the center the Virgin and St Stephen who intercede for the innocent Saints, to the right three works of mercy (dressing the naked, visiting prisoners, giving to drink thirsty). I'll be frank, this moc is intentionally half-ass (literately) and I want to join Bio-Cup 2018, but my situation limit my time to build irl and the judge forbid digital builds. So I decided to build a sudo entire that revolve around the current theme with some excluded rules.
But you maybe thinking;
"Why limit yourself on something you can't compete?"
I've been losing motivation to build because I hardly stuck onto another hobby aside from gaming and irl task, however something keeps kicking me back to LDD for some reason, but I end up making WIPs that get thrown off for a year or so.
While I tend to dislike limitation outside of challenges, Bio-Cup (or any others contest) daily theme let me select a concept for me and I can avoid it anytime; ik, it's dumb and unhealthy. Note, I won't put too much effort for these sudo entries.
"Why not join an ongoing contest that allows LDD like the Nexo Mech at Rebrick?"

Le pareti della chiesa sono interamente coperte da affreschi che raccontano le Storie del Nuovo e del Vecchio Testamento dipinte da illustri pittori della scuola senese del XIV secolo. Sulla parete destra è possibile ammirare un ciclo di affreschi del Nuovo Testamento, capolavoro di Lippo e Federico Memmi. Si tratta di un ciclo pittorico di grande potenza evocativa e di splendore iconografico, chiaramente ispirato ai canoni di Simone Martini. Sulla parete di sinistra sono narrate le Storie del Vecchio Testamento, realizzate nel 1367 da Bartolo di Fredi.
