Important - Feedback wanted.

What to do with those images that don't come up to standard? I decided to try something new (for me) to see if I could get something I could be happy with and hopefully people might want to buy.

The journey is as important as the destinations. Road-side Randomness in CA, AZ, NM, TX, UT, and NV on my Epic Winter Break Road Trip.

Unfortunately, my GPS had been switched off and I didn't realize it, so I have little idea where most of these were actually taken.

An abstract look into the future of The Journey, because don't worry, I haven't forgotten it. :D

Because I'm a Brony, I've decided to be obnoxious and make this image only decipherable by other Bronies. (and even then, it won't be easy) If you figure out what's going on here, try to keep it under your belt, please. I'll say no more!

On a side note and completely contradicting my last statement, I uploaded this so hastily because of a technique in the leg of the creature that I had built several weeks ago but had meant to withhold for several more weeks. This technique involves connecting a Batarang to a lever base. However, a few days ago I found a photo by djbricks, who had discovered the same technique but had beat me to the upload. In my paranoia, I have uploaded this prematurely to prove I didn't rip it off djbricks. :P

Enjoy, and I recommend browsing all MLP episodes if you want to get this! :D

Sometimes the best journeys are those, that start when we do not plan, continue how we do not expect and are taking us places we do not know.

Wild donkeys are not everyone's cup of tea. But growing up, I always had a soft spot for such creatures.

Only recently, a hiker's life was saved by a pack of burros in Death Valley. The lone hiker had fallen victim to the demands of peak summer conditions, and developed rhabdomyolysis. Isolated and hopeless, the hiker observed a pack of feral donkeys and followed their tracks. The donkeys led the man to a vital water source, which sustained the hiker for 7 days before being rescued by rangers.

2018 has seen the mission to remove feral donkeys from the park and relocate them to sanctuaries elsewhere.

The Story.

Saturday, March 22, 1:45 pm. I was almost finished painting at my sister & brother-in-law's when my cell phone rang. I cleaned up & listened to the message, which turned out to be from a sweet friend of my who is struggling right now. This is what I heard....

"Hey, m.a. - I have kind of an interesting situation that's come up that I wondered if you wanted to be part of....so...give me a call when you get a chance."

Maybe all we need to do in life is say "Yes."...? :) I did.

Life is like a train . Sometimes you have to stop somewhere and sometimes you have to run fast to reach your destination.

This was taken at Lighthouse Hotel, Galle. The only editing i've done is to desaturate the image. Didn't crop the photo.. :)

Long Journey

A poem by Peter S. Quinn

Thru the endless sea

Every day is going

To become again free

In new morning flowing

In eve sunshine glow

And night lullabies

Where everything has to go

For tomorrow skies

Thru the dreams of love

Like for you and I

As the clouds above

Meet the rising sky

And the feeling's awake

With so much to give

For each time to make

And true love to live

Thru the endless hours

That shall come and go

Seeds of beautiful flowers

That we still don't know

Every ending journey

That has gone long way

In our hope and liberty

In a morning of new day

Early morning walk of the master and his camel through the golden sunrise of Pushkar.

JOURNEY'S END

Silent sailing through waters still

Breeze of memories in the air

Mystical sea tales of old

Past and present and future here

Breeze of memories in the air

Hypnotises all men

Journey thus ends towards the sun

Breeze of memories in the air

Blackness drops on the sea

1. Taking pictures a tool (camera), not a photographer.

2. The choice of tool limits the possibilities.

3. Experience allows him (instrument) less and less to limit their capabilities.

4. The ability to see is given only when the observer allows ...

5. The moment of observation is the real find ...

6. Training and mastering it defies. Training leads to poor imitations of the original.

7. Often the result should ripen, like wine. Although time is the understanding of the mind, therefore it is very speculative.

8. The meaning of all this is the process!

9. Find someone who inspires shooting the camera!

Looking through some old photos, I found this picture. An autumn setting. I remember hoping for a mild winter and thinking about this peaceful scene. I named the photo Hope & Peace.
