Haul-elujah! What a good thrift day! A perfect condition Gameboy with 3 games, a bunch of great VHS tapes, some brown shirts I don’t need, a microwave rice steamer and a microwave mac and cheese cooker, a much needed measuring cup, and a deck of UNO cards for the kids at school. Can’t wait to see if there’s any good old commercials on the Return of the Living Dead and America’s Funniest Home Videos tapes. #starwars #fromstarwarstojedithemakingofasaga #vhs #thriftstorefinds #gameboy #tetris #drmario #nintendo #uno #unocards #ricesteamer #macandcheese #ghostbusters #tunerandhooch #horror #mrbean #returnofthelivingdead #fawltytowers #johncleese

Despite the government cutbacks it was rather interesting to see the Ministry of Silly Walks is still here. Although minus bowler hat and umbrella.

I mentioned this shot to Scott (potofclay) so I thought I would post it.

Took over the Penthouse sweet for the wedding reception as "Basil" -

But resisted to do the "Fire" "Fire" sketch!

Mr Gumby: "I would put a tax on all people who stand in water" [looks around to discover he's actually standing in a river] "Oh!"

From the Monty Python sketch "A Tax on Thingy". Mr Gumby is played brilliantly by John Cleese and I have to admit this is a line that comes to me frequently when people say ridiculously stupid things.

Samen met dé John Cleese

I know this is a crappy pic but it was bad light and I didn't have time to set the camera up, plus I was running behind the guy trying to catch up. I had come out of a building on 58th St just as he was passing. Definitely him, without a shadow of a doubt. I didn't want to shoot him from the front because he had that Basil Fawlty look on his face and I was too frightened. But yeah I know, could be anyone from the back.

Reconstruction of the theatre was funded by donations. Donors got their names on flagstones. John Cleese paid extra for Michael Palin's to be misspelled. Here is Thomas paying homage!

John Cleese's Final Wave to the World (Or the Alimony Tour, Year One)

Simply amazing! And in the easter colors too.

Taken at Alice Aid - A Night of Alternative Music & Comedy

Held 10 May 2014 at the Pipeline

A gig to raise funds for Alice on Mars, a film based on Robert Rankin's book of the same name.

While I think the likeness is okay, today's drawing/collage lacks the spontaneity of yesterday's. It seems forced. But hey, 2 days in a row.

Choose to either play the video, read the book or record your own voice-at home or on the road!
