So, brave knights, if you do doubt your courage or your strength, come no further, for death awaits you all with nasty, big, pointy teeth.

Spring break officially started today at 2:20! I've been planning tonight, my first official night of Spring break, for weeks. I am a crazy, wild, party woman. Which is why I've been planning to spend tonight at home, with a cup of tea and a good book. Because I have not read a book cover to cover in THREE MONTHS. For me, who usually reads three books a week, this is a crisis situation. So tonight I'll stay home with the new Linda Fairstein and a cup of rose garden, and I guarantee it'll be one of the best nights I've had in a while.

Oh, and I might intersperse the reading with old Fawlty Towers episodes. I used to LOVE them and I just forgot about them I guess in the last few years. But they're such good, classic hilarity. =)

Also, maybe I'll actually write something tonight? Hopefully?

Is as spokesman for an appliance store in Finland- he's in a bunch of commercials too. something along the lines of how his wife leaves him and he buys all of his house stuff from Gigantti, and the tagline is "Thank god for Gigantti!"

John Cleese was the closing keynote for the 2004 PCBC (Pacific Coast Builder Conference). Why? I'm not sure he even knew, but his was entertaining.

Is this my discovery? Or is this a well-known fact that they look alike?

Upper: John Cleese

Lower: Nick (Franz Ferdinand)

They are both very talented and I love them both :D

He's still a very tall, slender man with a rapier-sharp wit and an incredible intellect.

Plus, I'm grabbing his butt cheek and he kept on smiling

From a recent Ebay bulk purchase....the seller used this cover to help stiffen the package...no record. Cute cover. From 1965, John Cleese, soon to be of Monty Python, had a minor role.

I've nearly finished reading his autobiography. Rather than being one continuous laugh, it is more like the story of John Cleese, the person and some people he met and things he did. In fact when introducing one sketch and justifying its inclusion on the grounds that he likes it, he writes that those who bought this book expecting a joke a minute would be disappointed and it was his ***** book and he'd write what he wanted.

However one of my favourite quotes (and I've even dog eared the page and I *never* do that to books) is funny. He has funded research into the intelligence of cats and the report came back, "Cats are very intelligent at all the things that cats need to be intelligent at."

I definitely think this applies to people. In 2016, there was a story about a woman who was going to sail unaided to the South Pole. On the journey she would face waves five storeys high .... yep ... five stories high. And she hates the cold and gets sea sick. *

It's the cat intelligence story. If there are nine intelligences, as has been proposed, then she has a different one from mine. But I hope she has the one she needs.

John Cleese would love it.
