Inevitable Question 8c:
Can you tell us something about your CV?
My CV is nothing more than a coming together of MISFORTUNATE events!
Had a job interview today... The manager asked me to sign the CGC Sherman life ring on the wall - at that point I knew it was all good.
Now, if they'd just finish the construction in the neighborhood, maybe I could get a shift or two....

Representation of Klimt's "Garden Path with Chickens.
This image immediately spoke to me. I ran across it while researching another topic altogether; the initial topic now completely lost to the passage of time. While I knew I wanted to "use" Klimt's technique I thought I wanted to change the subject. The grand idea came down to biting off more than I could chew. I put off and put off starting the image. Finally I saw another image the "Rolling Hills" that follows this image that I wanted to work on, but I needed to be true to my sense of duty to Klimt and my initial feelings so I pressed forward with this representation.
What this image and my desire to work in Klimt's imagery says to me has to do with choosing to see the details or the big picture. I view the chickens as too close to the flowers to see the big picture. While chickens have a limited perspective, we as job seekers, if we work with all that we are given, have the ability to step back and take in the entire landscape.
After sitting for more than a half hour for a scheduled interview the nerves started kicking in. A bit of tunnel vision and maybe even wavy eyesight set in. I Pride myself in not being very nervous at interviews as I have run so many myself, but let me sit for a long time and all bets are off.
I need to find some relaxation techniques which will both allow me to stay sharp in addition to calming my nerves.
