Thermal hot springs can be found everywhere in Yellowstone. They come in different sizes and colors, but none are as dramatic as the Grand Prismatic. Vivid jeweled colors, exquisite patterns, and mysterious steam surround the hot spring, making almost unearthly.
After this past week, I have a question. Can you ever have too many beautiful butterflies surrounding you?

The tiny jeweled chameleon varies from pale green to dark brown in colour, and is elaborately decorated with numerous small, light-coloured spots.
This is our northern Spring - no flowers and everything is still brown... but at least the snow is gone! : )

Sorry I haven't been around this week - our internet went out.
It's funny how at first, I thought it was a big deal, but in a way it was a bit liberating! I sure had a lot of time for other things - but now... how easily I am back into my flickr addiction - LoL!
When my shooting buddy & I walked into this abandoned house it felt very strange. There were so many things left behind, many were buried in piles of rubble, but you still got the sense of someone's forgotten memories.
