Something a little different for me.
We had a part flown in for our sulphuric acid plant over the weekend... a big part that is. This is a massive Russian Ilyushin I1-76 and it was a bit of a struggle landing this bad boy on our little runway in Mount Isa. They actually had to unload the cargo so it could take off again. I was perched right at the end of the runway and I can assure you, it's LOUD. Apparently this is one of the largest transport planes in the world.
I chased this dragonfly for half an hour taking photos, when I looked later the first one was the best! I am sure it knew what I was doing, think I saw a smile on its face!!

@Niles New Canon 7 D mark2 has fast autofocus can't compare it to the old 7D.
Also amount of shots as keepers is fenomenal didn't had much time but soon 5 day's of to shoot and test it.
Only down point for now is the button for setting quick you're settings like aperture iso and other functions is on the right hand side.
This made me loose some shots with right settings as i used to do on the old 7D.
But hey i will get used to this :)
JET is a commissioned piece. The brief was to make a 1.5m high robot that looks like a kick ass earth invader rather than a comical butler.
