Well I left the Booty Ranch this morning before the crickets went to bed heading for Ocean Beach in San Francisco in pursuit of the mighty Dungeness crab...and that meant crossing one of two bridges which on a workday morning are pure hell...No Problem...
I remembered in my days of youth, a restaurant/bar/donut shop that never closed...upon reaching my destination, it had closed - PERMANENTLY...
Oh, Well, on to plan B...

The scary Jesus statue outside St. Martin's church in Basildon. I grew up terrified of this thing. Why is he just floating above the church doorway? Why is he impaled with multiple spikes like a human kerplunk? Why is one of his feet missing? It's horrible and so is the church building, just a big oblong box finished in dark, almost black, brickwork. Just horrible.
