Liz left Hungary in 1957 with her mother and brother. They were refugees from the Hungarian revolution and came to Canada to join Liz’s father who had already fled and found a home in Edmonton, Alberta. Liz settled in Toronto in 1969 and had a successful career with the Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC). She is now retired and is a long-standing volunteer with the Textile Museum of Canada.
