I met Jake along the seafront. Although he had been running around for several hours he was far from done. In that respect he reminded me of a certain someone who should be appearing here again soon........
ONLY EDITNG HERE WAS COLOR SATURATION AND CONTRAST!
The tunnel-like affect was captured by very quickly zooming in with the lens at the exact same time that I held down the shutter. The unique lighting here was made available by the overcast skies and the bridge under which Jake is sitting.

1st Annual Jake Plummer Halloween Handball Bash to benifit Campfire USA at Peak Health & Wellness Center in Coeur d'Alene, ID
Jake asked me to donate a painting for the fundraiser. Everyone had a great time and tons of money was raised for a Worthy Cause!
In mid March of this year I had the opportunity to shoot my good friends Jake and Hannah's engagement photos. These two are honestly some of the most sarcastic, fun and down to earth people I have ever met... and they have such big hearts for others and God its infectious!
I get the opportunity to shoot their wedding this summer too and I cannot wait! So here are some of my favorite shots from their session which just consisted of us all hanging out... love it!

Jake is from Manchester who recently moved to New Zealand (jealous!!!) and wanted to start modeling while living there. We shot some images for Jake before he moved. Here are some samples.
Jake has since moved from New Zealand to Australia where he's been accepted by a Australian modeling agency! He's off to a good start!

Jake [4.5 months] meets Henry dog, his mommy's favorite childhood toy. The start of a beautiful friendship...
I'll get an updated photo of all my furry ones very soon. UPDATE ON JAKE: As of 7/6/11 he has been on his medication for almost five days and has shown every sign of being back to his normal self. There have been no more asthma attacks so my baby is back to his lovable, sweet self.
Jake adopted us, we came to work one morning and there he was sitting on the front of our business , just watching traffic go by. We tried to find a lab rescue group but all were full,we told our daughter she was elected to take jake.
By the time we got home tina had called in a panic
saying jake was peeing all over the house. We went back , picked him up and took him home, 10 years later he hasn't had an accident in our home,he had chosen his family. Three years ago he was diagnosed with melanoma in the mouth ( A death sentence). Fortunatly our vet was sharp enough to know the lump was cancerous.She recomended metropolitan vet clinic in copley, ohio. They are on the cutting edge of a new immunal therapy. They immediatly operated on jakes lower jaw and removed it, the procedure was very expensive $7,000.00, he then had to go in for an injection of human and dog melanoma cells to inspire the white blood cells to attack the disease.We put him on a low fat, natural diet from ivo, suplimented the diet with cas options (A dry cocktail of different mushrooms and other good stuff). He just went in for his 3 month checkup and is still clean. We are the luckiest family in the world to have had jake pick us for his family. At 11 years old he acts and still looks like a puppy, my wife quit work so someone would be with him during the day ( He has separation anxiety)And we didn't want him stressing.

Happy Birthday Sweet Boy!
We celebrated Jake's first birthday on Saturday, July 14th. We took him to the river for a swim and his very first water retrieves! We all had a blast....he took the the water like, well....a LAB! I took SOOO many great photos - I wish I could share them all!
Later he got to open his presents (a bunch of new toys). He also got a new collar and ID Tag. I also made him his very own birthday cake! It was a great day!
Jake Jackson took the Genelec-sponsored award for Breakthrough Engineer of the Year, presented by Source Distribution's own Howard Jones!
