Jake is a male golden-cheeked gibbon Nomascus gabriellae
He was born at Los Angeles Zoo. He is part of the international breeding programme (EEP/SSP) for this species and when he met Zoey they hit it off right away. They are now the proud parents of Kim and Zak.
