We took a drive on Saturday, January 30th to have some socially distanced and brief conversations with friends all around Essex County, ON. Though we weren't there for the snapping of the ice, we witnessed the surreal landscape of broken ice on the north shore of Lake Erie, in and around Kingsville where some of our friends live. I've never seen ice quite like this in all my years living close to Erie and Huron.
Some sunset colors on the coast, near Harbourville, N.S., with subdued reflections in the calm waters. The colors in the sky were warm and few, while the coastline delivered a jagged edged silhouette. It was also interesting how the jagged edges of the clouds, did their best to emulate the coastline.
Choice #2 for Macro Mondays. This week's theme was easy because we're doing house renovations and there are a lot of jagged tools laying around...lol

I really appreciate your comments and faves. I'm not a hoarder of contacts, but enjoy real-life, honest people. You are much more likely to get my comments and faves in return if you fit the latter description. Just sayin. :oD

One of the best beaches in Scotland at sunset with the jagged outline of the Isle of Rum in the distance with the jagged shapes in the sand caused by one of the small streams that run onto Laig Beach on the Isle of Eigg.

Same as the previous upload, except this time I altered the exposure and managed to catch some pretty sweet water flow.
“No one would have guessed that the jagged pieces of our soul fit the puzzle in this box. We were considered the left over remnants that had no place, except the picture we wanted to create together.”

Thanks to those of you that have reached out and asked what the heck happened to me? I can't even answer that. Working too much has pretty much sucked the creativity out of me.... not to mention leaving me with very little time for creativity anyway. But, I am still here... still crawling through dirty old buildings when time permits and knowing that I should at least be buying lottery tickets to give me even the smallest hope of escaping a job that I really don't like...
I'll try to do better!
