The icy face of Alaska’s Margerie Glacier rises over 250 feet into the air at Glacier Bay National Park.

Alternative shot for Macro Monday - Edge.

I climbed this mountain several years ago. The title says it all, I think, about how I felt while making my return.

It's Hayden Peak, though, at 12,479 ft. above the level of the sea. I left it with a view engraved on my memory such that I am not soon likely to forget. That sort of thing always makes it a good day for me.

This is the mountain range across from Maroon Bells near Aspen, Colorado. I love the textures and color. The sky was completely washed out so I replace it in Photoshop. Not perfect, but fun to work on.

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !!

Today is a yellow day at Color My World Daily, and the theme at the fabulous *ღღ* Cosas de casa *ღღ Group is : jagged.

At first I had no idea for the picture but then, once again, autumn inspired me. So here it is: jagged edges of a heart shaped yellow(ish) leaf. And since I have a hate/love relationship with fall, the jagged edges are the representation of this feeling… I love autumn but I hate the fact that it is soooooo close to winter….

Have a beautiful day and see you later my friends !

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and healthy!! And see you soon on Flickr !!

Vestrahorn mountain is located on the Stokknes Peninsula, close to the town of Höfn. Unlike most of the mountains in Iceland, it is made out of iron- and magnesium-rich gabbro rock, which leads to its dark and jagged appearance.

Standing separate from the mountains of the nearby Vatnajökull National Park, Vestrahorn is an impressive 454 metres (1,490 feet) tall. It faces out to the sea on its southern side and is surrounded by a sandy coastline that is often home to seals. Like most stretches of beach in Iceland, the sands here are black due to the island’s volcanism.

A compressed shot of Mt. Elpoca, one of the most rugged and rough peaks I've seen. Fascinating geology.

Elpoca Mountain is a 3,036-metre (9,961-foot) mountain summit located at the southern end of the Opal Range in Kananaskis Country, Alberta.

Thanks for taking a peek!

The jagged stuff needs to be cleaned up after it has been used. Sometimes the tiny people in little world polish it until it looks brandnew :)
