On 24th September, around 100 participants in this year's Caledonian100 event set off from Aviemore to circumnavigate 100km of the Cairngorms National Park on foot, within 30 hours. Walking in groups of 3, 4 or 5, and raising sponsorship for the Scottish Community Foundation (SCF, who run the event), participants were treated to almost perfect weather and some of the most beautiful spots within the Cairngorms National Park.
Unfortunately this is cropped. I hope to start shooting 6x6 soon, though.

this tiny sportweight yarn knit loosely on size 4 needles grew after washing and wearing to around 4 stitches per inch! there is no way to make a fitted sweater out of this yarn. it's really soft and lightweight and perfect for summer. i knit this with less than 3 balls of jaeger trinity, using the knit and tonic pattern for marilyn's not-so-shrunken cardigan.
jaeger loves to sleep/imitate snoopy imitating a vulture on my cutting table. I was putting together "his" pillow and discovered him hanging out here. he was probably like, "hey. finish my pillow." but said in a ving rhames voice.
