Jacket photos on Flickr

I made this sweet little jacket using some very soft chocolate brown cotton drill fabric, and used some un-dyed calico to line the jacket. The pockets are made using a sturdy canvas fabric, with a very sweet print of little hedgehogs, getting around the forest in search for their crowns!

Daisy (Bellis perennis) with yellow jacket by Reverend Shaft

I can't identify the particular species of yellow jacket here, but I assume it to be a German Yellowjacket (Paravespula germanica) because of its prevalence in the area.

There were a few of them buzzing around this patch of daisies, and this one was nearly impossible to capture. I spent too long trying, and was lucky to have not gotten stung (they're quite aggressive this time of year).

I really wish the daisies were in better shape.
