I bought a small, wool blanket at a yard sale last week and thought it would make a nice jacket for Avi. Yesterday, I was knitting while he took a nap, and I kept staring at the blanket. Finally I decided to just go for it. It's modeled on my ("drug rug" / baja shirt / hippie hoodie) because it was an easy pattern. The only thing I need to fix is some way to keep the neck from gaping open. I had to make the opening large so it would fit over his head, but I didn't leave room for a button. I'm brainstorming now...
