Mens' sports jacket refashioned into a decorative panel to be worn over a skirt. The extre pockets are pretty useful too!
My first attempt at an Ottobre Design pattern ("Keyboard Canvas Jacket", pattern 31 in issue 4/2008). Made without original welt and pleat pockets. Shell in chocolate cotton drill and lining in cotton stripe shirting. Made for child height 134cm.
This sketch is based on a jacket that I found today at Christopher & Banks. On the jacket, it looks like a watercolor print bordering the bottom edge. This was done in colored pencil and ink.
Scallop-Edge Leaf from the book, Crochet Bouquet, plus crocheted flowers are appliqued to a purchased jeans jacket.
