14. novembrī beidzās NATO 1.pastāvīgās jūras pretmīnu grupas (SNMCMG1) un Baltijas valstu mīnu kuģu eskadras (BALTRON) rīkotās kopējās mācībās „Hod ops” (Historical Ordnance Disposal Operation), kas no 4. līdz 14.novembrim notika Irbes jūras šaurumā.
Mācību galvenais uzdevums bija atrast un neitralizēt Pirmā un Otrā pasaules kara laika atstātos sprādzienbīstamos priekšmetus Irbes jūras šaurumā, lai uzlabotu kuģošanas drošību Baltijas jūrā, kā arī pilnveidot SNMCMG1 un Baltijas valstu jūras eskadras vienību iemaņas mīnu iznīcināšanas operācijās.
Mācību “Hod ops” laikā tika attīrītas aptuveni 20 kvadrātjūdzes, jūras dzelmē atrodot 56 sprādzienbīstamus priekšmetus – 40 enkurmīnas un 16 grunts mīnas. Šobrīd ir iznīcinātas 43 mīnas, Jūras spēki turpinās darbu pie atlikušo 13 vēsturisko mīnu neitralizēšanas. Kopā tika identificēti 322 priekšmeti.

Materials: Camera Raw, Nikon d3400, Photoshop.
Process: Take two different photograph. One of a misty mirror, second photograph of an ocean. Turn Misty Mirror photograph from color to black and white. Increase the contrast and decrease the highlights on the ocean picture. Use layering on Photoshop to combine photographs. Change Blending mode to Pin Light, and decrease opacity to 80 percent. Use brush tool and masking to make the bathroom more obvious.
Idea: Create a juxtaposition of Man Made and Nature, using layering. One photograph must be inside whilst the other is a landscape.

Jūras spēku kuģi KA-14 “Astra” un P-08 “Jelgava”, kas šorīt devās Baltijas jūrā, lai savāktu no Būtiņģes naftas pārkraušans termināļa noplūdušo naftu, saņēmuši jaunu uzdevumu. Tagad izplūdušās naftas vietā jāmeklē no termināļa norautā naftas uzpildes caurule.

XMR Log 1:
An experimental version of the popular Railgun. This version is much smaller, fires a smaller round at a much higher velocity. This model is left handed since the Designer was left handed. It fires a solid round the size of the .50 cal bullet (Excluding the casing). There is a small generator in the rear of the receiver about the size of a soda can. Electro magnets are placed at 1" intervals along the barrel shroud to further propel the slug. The generator can propel the slug at 100 km/h, and has a built in recoil reducer in the barrel shroud just above the handguard. This model features a digital targeting cope that can penetrate walls up 10 miles, the adjustment knobs are on the left side, the scope can also outline enemies in red and friendlies in green with a quick ID Tag, along with IFF, it also features a range finder, and laser designator to call in air-strikes.
