Die Kabelabschottung verhindert die Ausbreitung des Brandes

Brände breiten sich nicht nur durch Türen in benachbarte Räume aus. Ein oft verkanntes Problem sind die Kabel. Entlang dieser breiten sich Feuer und Rauch schnell aus. Die Kabelabschottung verhindert das. Die DIN 4102 schreibt diese bauliche Maßnahme verbindlich vor, welche der KCS Brandschutz entsprechend den gesetzlichen Vorschriften durchführt.

Kabelabschottung: Kabelleitungen sind eine Schwachstelle beim Brandschutz

In jedem Haus befinden sich unzählige Kabel. Diese verlaufen durch Wände und Decken hindurch. Ohne Kabelabschottung stellen sie ein erhebliches Risiko dar. Feuer und Rauch schaffen es mühelos, sich einen Weg durch andere Gebäudeteile zu suchen. Das ist einer der Gründe, warum sich Feuer innerhalb eines Gebäudes so schnell ausbreiten können, selbst wenn sämtliche Türen geschlossen sind. Die Kabelabschottung besteht aus einem Material, das sich bei Hitze ausdehnt und die Zwischenräume abdichtet. So können weder Rauch noch Feuer in die anderen Räume gelangen. Neben der Kabelabschottung bekommen Kunden vom KCS Brandschutz außerdem eine Rohrabschottung. Was eben für Kabelleitungen gesagt wurde, gilt selbstverständlich ebenso für die Rohrleitungen in Gebäuden.

Unterschiedliche Kabelabschottungen für verschiedene Zwecke

Sie können unter verschiedenen Abschottungssystemen wählen. Welches System für Ihr Gebäude optimal ist, kann nur ein Fachberater entscheiden. Sie bekommen von uns unter anderem einen Plattenschott oder einen Kissenschott. Letzterer sieht in der Tat einem Kissen ähnlich und lässt sich sehr einfach installieren. Sie lassen sich für die unterschiedlichsten Stärken verwenden und es ist keine Kabelbeschichtung erforderlich. Die Kabelabschottung erhalten Sie in unterschiedlichen Brandschutzklassen. Diese halten dem Feuer je nach Ausführung bis zu drei Stunden stand. Außerdem bekommen Sie von uns Brandschutzsteine und Kabelmanschetten.

Eine Kabelabschottung ist für jedes Gebäude wichtig und deshalb sollten Sie nicht das erstbeste Produkt nehmen. Lassen Sie sich beim Kauf ruhig Zeit. Wir beraten Sie gerne und umfassend.
