Josephine is the name of the blue and white houseboat docked at Passerelle Debilly. Josephine is billed as a luxury yacht tourboat.
Passerelle Debilly, built for the 1900 World Fair, is a pedestrian/bicycle arch bridge over the Seine. It was designed by Jean Resal, who also designed the Pont Alexandre III, the most beautiful bridge in Paris.
She also got a bit of a makeover (eyes and lashes) - not as drastic as Karin though!
She's wearing an outfit by Dolly Boutique to celebrate them being the artist of the month at Pullip Home!
A picture of Josephine Bowes above the fireplace and a modern recreation of the dress she was wearing. Josephine was only 5ft tall but was a very determined woman, After leaving her acting career when she married John Bowes, she became a successful artist and was a driving force behind the creation of the Bowes Museum.
A special girl arrived this week. In all her pinkness DH got her for me for Valentine's Day, and Lola of LoliniaDolls made her super special by sending her in this fantastic outfit, with a drawing of her to frame and her little friend, which she also made. What a pleasure to deal with!
One of the many lakes in Glacier National Park is Lake Josephine - a beautiful morning mirror of Mount Gould.
While the valley itself shows the typical U-shape of a glacier-carved valley, the glaciers that gave the national park its name are shrinking at such a fast rate that they might be gone by 2030 already. A saddening fact that hopefully will make at least some of us re-think their behavior and how it changes our climate.
