Norfolk Southern Local H06 is seen skimming Seneca Lake as they depart Geneva, NY with interchange from the Finger Lakes Railway. This local runs out of Gang Mills up the Corning Secondary to the FGLK interchange in Geneva. We stumbled upon this job after sight seeing around scenic Geneva and as we headed toward Watkins Glen, the chase was on as the Finger Lakes owned line parallels Seneca Lake down toward Himrod.

I couldn't keep the surprise :) These are handcut, jointed silhouettes. I have been greatly inspired by Lotte Reiniger and her films lately. So I took some characters from my prints and made them come to life! These are very limited edition...one of each. They will be part of the January 11th shop re-opening.

This is the same eyeball fabric I used for my own skirt. The print really works for Kuro, a punkish cute style.
Kuro like knit tops and luckily, I found a good fabric that suits her taste. It's the first time I made a 'simple top'. I really like this outfit because it represents Kuro's style, especially her hair :3
