J'Ouvert has it's origin from the French Jour Ouvert which means daybreak/morning. It signals the start of Carnival and in New York the West Indian Day Parade.

“J’existe.” meaning "I exist" in french
A simple phrase that reminds us everyone matters.
Each person has a role to play in this world,
even those who aren’t famous or recognized.

they are the ones who truly keep everything moving.

J is for Jerusalem. I have decided as an extra project, I will post an alphabet photo each day of a place I have been - my own rule is that it must be a photo that I have already published, untouched from the original. Each photo is one I "like" or have a connection to, regardless of "quality". Today is Jerusalem. This is a spice merchant in the old city. I did ask him if I could take the shot :)
