A smaller chapel attached to San Domenico Maggiore displays important pieces of Italian paintings and sculptures.

San Domenico Maggiore is a church in Naples, southern Italy, founded by the friars of the Dominican Order, located in the square with the same name. The square is one of the most interesting in Naples and is on the street popularly called "Spaccanapoli" in the historic center of Naples.

Vespa is an Italian brand of scooter manufactured by Piaggio.

The name means wasp in Italian.

The Vespa has evolved from a single model motor scooter manufactured in 1946 by Piaggio & Co. S.p.A. of Pontedera, Italy—to a full line of scooters and one of seven companies today owned by Piaggio—now Europe's largest manufacturer of two-wheeled vehicles and the world's fourth largest motorcycle manufacturer by unit sales

From their inception, Vespa scooters have been known for their painted, pressed steel unibody which combines a complete cowling for the engine (enclosing the engine mechanism and concealing dirt or grease), a flat floorboard (providing foot protection), and a prominent front fairing (providing wind protection) into a structural unit.

1973 was the year of the first Bertone designed Ferrari : the 308 GT4. To remain up to date and stick to the oil crisis, Bertone suggests this "cheap" model as an entry to the range. There was no real plan to pu it into production.

But this Rainbow announces the design of the 1980s. The roof can be removed offering a Targa body.

Since the glory days of Rome, wealthy Italians have been holidaying along the banks of Lake Como. The result is some of the most spectacular, grand villas, perfectly blended into the beautiful surroundings.

Built on a large cliff overlooking the sea, the colourful homes of Manarola are particularly picturesque.

Manarola may be the oldest of the towns in the Cinque Terre, with the cornerstone of the church, San Lorenzo, dating from 1338. Manarola's primary industries have traditionally been fishing and wine-making. In recent years, Manarola and its neighboring towns have become popular tourist destinations. Mostly all of the houses are bright and colourful.

Built in 1893, this historical landmark in Tacoma, Washington serves as a reminder of Tacoma's booming transcontinental railroad past. The architecture is of Italian design mimicking the great buildings of Florence, whose seaports Tacoma wanted to imitate as well. This building is one of the top attractions in Tacoma and last summer I actually went inside it to try to get to the top for views of the city. I was unsuccessful as they have the top blocked off, but walking up the old creaking and cracking stairways was a very nervous experience. It was definitely at this moment coming back down that I appreciated modern architecture. What I find really interesting now is I have read about several ghost sightings in the building, and I had no clue. Needless to say, I will not be returning inside. Enjoy!
