Shot from the town of Malcesine , Lake Garda

This is the view from our house on the Italian Riviera. Even though I took this picture two years ago, the view is always the same. We are looking east down on the bay, with the sea all the way to the horizon. All the weather phenomena, like this sunrise, can be observed so well. They are the same today as they were last year and the year before last.

Milan Cathedral (Italian: Duomo di Milano [ˈdwɔːmo di miˈlaːno]; Lombard: Domm de Milan) is the cathedral church of Milan, Italy. Dedicated to St Mary of the Nativity (Santa Maria Nascente), it is the seat of the Archbishop of Milan, currently Cardinal Angelo Scola. The Gothic cathedral took nearly six centuries to complete. It is the 5th-largest church in the world and the second largest in Italy. from Wikipedia

At the Olympic village: bicycle

Here is a detail of picturesque Italian architecture in Imperia on the Italian Riviera of Flowers. In addition to the architectural elements, such as windows, bay windows and corners, I play with shadows and street elements, such as power lines and street lamps.

From old hard drives I recovered some vintage shots...

I hope you like them.

Anna Camatta (b.1921), has worked in Milano as servant after the II world war. She never married and lived very independently. She is very proud of her past working activity and always speaks about a letter that Mike Bongiorno wrote her many years ago. She lives now in Mareno di Piave (italian Nordeast) in poor conditions helped by her neighbours.

The Rural Decay just around us

A shot from 2018 that I recently edited. What's interesting about it is that I took it with a Nikon 1 series mirrorless system camera from 2011, one of the first DSLMs.

We stay in Imperia on the Ligurian Riviera. Imperia is made up of the two completely different villages of Oneglia and Porto Maurizio, which Mussolini merged in 1923. Hence the name "Imperia". This house entrance is located in the winding Porto Maurizio.
