Glad to be part of Underdogs vol.9, moreover I really enjoyed the editing! A print version is available via Peecho.
I have a concentration issue; Particularly, when writing. So I often listen to classical. But this site is a good alternative.
Music in games is designed to hold people's attention, and that's why this site is perfect for when my mind goes on an unending rabbit trail.
They play a large variety of music., and have hundreds of songs.
Including, but not limited to:
portals
Donkey Kong
Pokémon
Zelda
Halo
Batman
Kingdom Hearts
Super Mario 64
and so on and so forth....
I only listen to instrumental while writing. They do play some songs with lyrics but not many.
If you're interested, check it out.
Oh and the background can be changed. I just prefer the Reach one. :)
Stay Safe, Eat Doughnuts (╭☞▰ᗜ▰)╭☞
Didn't quite make the sunrise but caught the lowness of early morning from high up on Issue Edge.Wonderful place to be at this time of day and year. Spent much more time just looking and soaking it all in than taking photos.
My name is Bruce Wayne. When I was a child my parents were shot and killed right before my eyes. That one event changed me forever, sending me down a path I never would've thought I'd go down. It made me a guardian. A vigilante. A dark knight. It made me the Batman.

Today is the day. The peace treaty between Kasnia and Wakanda is getting signed, ending the centuries old conflict between them. Almost everyone from those countries, plus all the major news stations are gathered in this hall, where the treaty will become official. Although, as with everything else, there will always be someone against it. And if my intelligence is correct, then a third party should be showing up. Someone who doesn't want this deal to go through. Someone who has hurt many people, from mob bosses to policemen to young innocent boys and their families...
Diana: (Bumps Bruce's briefcase.) "Sorry."
Bruce: "No problem."
Diana: "You look familiar. You're from Gotham, right? Bruce Wayne?"
Bruce: "In the flesh. You are?"
Diana: "Diana." (They shake hands.) "Diana Prince. Nice to meet you."
Bruce: "Likewise."
There's something about this "Diana" that I can't quite place. She seems like a trustworthy person, but she kept glancing to the stage. Her grip was suspiciously strong, and it seemed like she was hiding silver gauntlets under her sleeves. The leaders of Kasnia and Wakanda walk up on stage, and Diana disappears. I scan the hall where the event is taking place, looking everywhere from the crowd to the doors to the stage lights to the...glint. I saw a glint in the air-ducts. The same exact glint I saw on the worst night of my life, in the left sleeve of the monster who-
Diana: "DOWN!"
Bruce: "Everyone get down! Now!"
Everyone starts to duck when suddenly BANG! A gunshot rings in our ears as the leader of Kasnia falls to the ground. During the commotion, I notice Diana checking his pulse, then trying to stop the bleeding. He's alive. I open my briefcase, and throw a Batarang at the duct, though I feel he's gone to another one. No time to deduce which, I change into my costume and start running up to the stage when BANG! Another shot. But this time I see no-one slump to the floor. Only Diana standing there, with her gauntlet directly in front of the Wakandan's head.
-----------------------------------Thanks for reading my first issue of my new series! I hope you've enjoyed it, and part two will hopefully be posted soon.
Note: This issue and the next are the origin of Batman joining S.H.I.E.L.D., and the rest are going to take place in the preset time. Anyways, keep an eye out for the next one, and have a good day!
Just spreading the word that the 2nd issue of tiny feet is coming out tomorrow, i'm really looking forward to see what's inside.

An interesting small leaflet issued by British Transport Catering Services, part of the British Transport Commission and who provided such services across various division of the nationalised transport industry. This draws attention to the catering services available for parties and excursions - these are the range of pre-packed meals (in carrier bags), tray meals (that were usually made available in an insulated container on-board the specified train) and the 'Compakt' meal boxes that was, seemingly a cut above the rest!
The idea behind these services was to ensure that groups and parties had pre-organised food for their trip as well as not overwhelming train or station cartering buffets where these were available. The list of contents and prices makes for intersting reading.
The design of the leaflet is quite striking - sadly no designer or agency is shown but I wonder if this is not possibly a product of the Curwen Press who undertook a lot of work for the BTC at the time. It forms a double opening fold and so I have scanned it in the three sections.
Beyond slight differences on the face stencils there are two main versions of Novo-Gama's Tressy. The one on the right, with reddish hair is the most common. These ones tend to darken, head and arms gets hard and shiny. The one on the left, the pale one, has tons of hair, which has a more greenish hue and a bad trim, that I think is factory made. These ones tend to fade and vinyl is softer. Arms are usually elongated.

A set of stamps issued by the Isle of Man Post Office in 1974 with beautiful artwork by the Manx artist John Hobson Nicholson.
3p; The 1935 Senior TT is regarded by many to be one of the greatest seniors in TT history. Competitors had to put up with lack of gas, electricity and public transport due to the general strike. In addition George Formby was on the island making the most of his cinematic success ‘No Limits’ portraying the exploits of George Shuttleworth and his home made Shuttleworth Snap.
Stanley Woods riding a Moto Guzzi had taken half a minute off the Senior lap record in practice and looked good for the race win. The 1935 Senior became the first to be postponed to the Saturday due to the weather and when it finally got started Woods found himself starting at number 30, fifteen minutes behind his rival Jimmy Guthrie. Norton mounted Guthrie held the upper hand early on but Woods employed a ‘dummy pit stop’ at the end of lap six to out fox Guthrie’s works Norton team. As a result of Woods starting position, Guthrie was declared the winner by the press who had to reverse their decision when it emerged that Woods had won by 4 seconds and had smashed the lap record by 4 mph to make a new record of 86.53mph.
31/2p; Norton mounted Freddy Frith’s first Senior TT win partly resulted from his teammate Jimmy Guthrie’s breakdown at the Cutting on lap five although Frith had to complete the first ever 90mph lap to beat Stanley Woods. It was to be Guthrie’s last ever TT race as he was tragically killed two months later while leading the German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring circuit. Scotsman Guthrie was commemorated by a memorial on the TT course at the Cutting which is now known as Guthrie’s memorial.
8p: The 1961 sidecar race was won by Max Deubel and passenger Emil Horner on a BMW with a fastest lap of 87.97mph. BMW would take all three podium places but the race was marred by the death of passenger Marie Lambert who was killed at Creg-ny-Baa, tragically her husband Claude was the driver.
10p: Although not part of the official Honda squad, Mike Hailwood was to ride for the Japanese factory in both the 125cc and 250cc races. Hailwood broke the 125 cc lap record from a standing start and held on to win from Luigi Taveri to secure his first TT win, it was also Honda’s first win on the island. Hailwood went on to win the lightweight 250cc race for Honda and record a hat-trick of wins when he won the Senior TT on a Norton. Hailwood’s win in the Senior TT made history, he became the first ever rider to win three TTs in a week. This feat became more achievable in later race programmes when more races were added, Hailwood won three out of the four races he competed in and repeated the hat-trick in 1967 ( the TT hat-trick would be repeated by the great Joey Dunlop 24 years later in 1985). In addition, Hailwood was the first man to win a TT on a single-cylinder machine (Norton) at an average of over 100mph.
The series of posters issued by the combined Briitsh bus and coach operators under the banner "See Britain from her Roads" ran for a couple of decades after WW2. Not as well known as contemporary railway posters, or as they should be, they consisted of what appears to be a regular series of commissioned artworks the posters of which were overprinted or 'badged' for the individual operators, in this case the Chetser based Crosville Motor Services whose vast operating territory covered much of North Wales, west Cheshire and even into Liverpool's suburbs.
This vibrant scene of a market day, the Market Place surrounded as they often are by local public houses and dominated by a church spire, is by the well known artist and illustrator Royston Cooper (1931 - 1985). It is very much of his style of abstract work and Cooper was commissioned by several organisations such as British Railways for posters and publicity illustrations. Annoyingly no location is given. It could be a collage of sorts or it is likely to be a real location?
The as-always humongous September issue of Vogue has arrived... I will need a few days alone. Thanks.
