A NEW road in Blackburn has been named in honour of the town’s billionaire Issa brothers.
The multi-million pound highway connects Blackamoor Road to Roman Road, opening up land around Fishmoor Reservoir for housing and other development.
It will be named Issa Way after EG Group founders Mohsin and Zuber who in October last year took over supermarket giant Asda.
Mr Koroma was killed on the pavement (beside the Poundland store) in an unprovoked attack on High Street in broad daylight.
Community leaders and The South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner attended the vigil.

The minaret in the southeast corner is called the Minaret of Jesus (Issa) because it is believed that Jesus Christ, who is considered a prophet in Islam, will reappear at this place shortly before the day of judgement. The upper part of the Minaret that can be seen today was built in the Ottoman period after the earthquake of 1759, and the lower part is from the Memluk period.

Damascus is believed to be the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world and the Umayyad Mosque stands on a site that has been considered sacred ground for at least 3,000 years. The Umayyad Mosque, also known as the Grand Mosque of Damascus, is one of the largest and oldest mosques in the world, being completed in 715 AD. The spot where the mosque now stands was a temple of Hadad in the Aramean era. The site was later a temple of Jupiter in the Roman era, then a Christian church dedicated to John the Baptist in the Byzantine era, before finally becoming a mosque.
