El parlamentario que cuenta con el apoyo de diputados de varias bancadas tales como Camila Vallejo (PC), Pedro Browne (Amplitud), Pepe Auth (PPD), Nicolás Monckeberg (RN), Gustavo Hasbún (UDI), entre otros, llamó a otros partidos a sumarse a esta iniciativa.
"Queremos presentar un proyecto de ley transversal que busca reconocer a uno de los cultores más importantes de las letras a nivel mundial y que es chileno. Nos referimos al poeta Pablo Neruda", dijo Kort
