For all those non-nerds out there, a typical "isometric" view in a technical drawing is shown at such a perspective so that each axis is at an angle of 120° to each other.
With that fact a deep part of my being, you can understand a little more easily how striking it was for me to look up at the ceiling of the building I was in and see, more or less, a perfect isometric view before me.
This is a 9-image panorama shot with my 50mm f/1.2 lens. 3 rows of 3.

"Jesuskyr" from Eurobricks forum transferred the model into a MLCad file and made some nice renderings using POV-Ray.
