Part of a weekly task we were set at university to explore the theme 'Relationships, Fast and Fluid'
this is my first real attempt at photographing with the attempt of conveying some sort of emotion. so i am new to this, so bear with me :)
Australia is full of reserves and country roads where it feels that there is no one around for miles.
Isolation and Solicitude - The double edge sword of life. Both can give you peace of mind. Both can lead you to the edge of insanity. What's important is find the stillness that these two places can give you. That's when you can walk that line and not fall into despair.

Tonight I went to the forest near my house this evening to check out where me and laura could take picture this weekend

My lost thing is well... Lost. It doesn't know where to go, isolation or civilization.
This was another shot for my project with the hearts motif. This one represented isolation and how he still loves...instead of movng on and putting his heart back out into the world hes hanging on to the love he has right now even though there are evident problems in the relationship.
This was taken for a Weekly Photo Challenge - theme "ISOLATION"
It was taken in open moorland near where I used to live.
The seat is in memory of Ron who sadly passed away in 2007.
Apparantly, he loved the ISOLATION as well as the peace and quiet of the place
This redundant pump house sucked water from ponds and into the nearby concrete works. Concrete from here would have been used in the Ronan Point Tower block.
a little bit of PS work (OK, a lot) and you'd hardly notice the 6-piece stitch
a pano of our home for the night in SA's lonely outback - another one from me and my brother's roadtrip to the interior
this was literally the only place for miles and miles and miles. we'd been driving most of the day with only a few scattered homesteads along the way.
this old settler's cabin had been done up for anyone and everyone to stay for the night. hey, it's not like there was anywhere else, so we were grateful even for the concrete floor (after we'd cleared the bird and mice crap!).
i think there may be a few more posts of this place - i loved the sheer isolation of it!
repost: colours "jacked up" a little at Chritalpics request =)
