Isolation In Desolation, the famous cottage near the summit of Hartside Pass on the way to Alston. I have passed this place many a time, never really working out the best way to photograph the cottage. Going through a black and white phase i realised within this landscape, a mono shot was best.

I am not anti-social, but I am a bit of a loner at times. I need privacy, alone time to spend with myself, and just be me. Yesterday, not feeling so well was especially one of those days. I just wanted to unplug the phone and get away from all the noise. Is that so much to ask?

I took this photo the other day, so glad I did because I haven't been up to going out to take a photo right now. All I've done is browse Flickr all day and night. I feel a bit better today, yay.

Does anyone have a gorillapod or used one? Thoughts?
