Larus sp. (Herring Gull x Glaucous Gull Hybrid)? Maybe a young Iceland Gull?. Kent's Pond, St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. January 17th, 2015.

This gull was "with" a flock of Herring Gull. However, it has grey wing tips and kept its distance from the rest of the gull flock. At one point it seemed to be pacing on the edge of the ice next to open water watching ducks.

Nilam Cyclone

Perth WA, the most isolated city in the world. Taken from Kings Park, Perth's botanic gardens, which is close to and overlooks the CBD.

Took this mid week, on a trip back from Cumbria over Tan Hill. Really wouldn't like to try and get to this place in the winter.

Two now-isolated survivors of the terrace just north of Kingsley Road. The terrace once contained the Charles Wooton Centre. Upper Parliament Street was laid out and begun in 1807 as an extension eastwards of Parliament Street. It then formed the boundary between the expanding 19thC. city and the still rural Toxteth Park until 1835 when the incorporation of the Park into the city lead to the complete urbanisation of Toxteth. Some days she feels boxed in.

While at the play center, all the kids running around freely, but I have to keep an eye on my daughter and pull her aside for another glucose check.

As we learned from the previous visits, she tends to run low, even with extra snacks and no boluses!
