This is a calligraphy from surah in Qur'an written in a gold plat. The gold painting on the sides made from gold ink.

Typical Turkic style tomb at hte necropolis of Makli Hill in Sindh. Similar to the many tile domed tombs found accross Afghanistan and central asia as well as the Indian subcontinent.

قام بإنشاء هذا القصر الأمير سيف الدين طاز بن عبدالله الناصرى ، وكان من مماليك السلطان الناصر محمد بن قلاوون ، حيث اعتق ، ثم ترقى فى الوظائف ، وارتفع نجمة وصيته حتى عين أمير مجلس ، وتدخل فى الصراع الدائر على العرش بين أولاد الناصرمحمد ، وظل محتفظا بمكانته ، حيث اشتهر ذكره فى أيام الملك الصالح إسماعيل 743 - 746 هـ / 1342 - 1345 م .

This tomb considered to be built in "classic proportions" is located next to the Bade Khan's tomb, which has a wonderful well maintained interior. The exterior walls of the tomb, particularly at the entry, has carved plasterwork.[1]

The Nakhoda Masjid is the principal mosque of Kolkata, India, in the Chitpur area of the Burrabazar business district in Central Kolkata, at the intersection of Zakariya Street and Rabindra Sarani.

The mosque was built as an imitation of the mausoleum of Mughal Emperor Akbar at Sikandra, Agra by Kutchi Memon Jamat, a small community of Sunni Muslim community from Kutch. Abdur Rahim Osman, a leader of the Kutchi Memon Jama'at, who funded the building was a shipping prince: The mosque was named Nakhoda meaning Mariner.

 

Opened: 1926

The foundation stone was laid on 11 September 1926. The total cost incurred for the construction was 1,500,000 Indian rupees in 1926.
