Jeden Sommer bringt die weltgrößte IRONMAN-Qualifikation in Frankfurt Rhein-Main die Weltklasse an den Start. Mehr als 2.300 Teilnehmer aus über 55 Nationen und rund 350.000 Zuschauer machen den IRONMAN zu einem internationalen Fest. Nach 3,8 km Schwimmen und 180 km Rad fahren kommen die Athleten am Mainkai in der Frankfurter Innenstadt zum vielleicht härtesten Teil des IRONMAN: dem Marathonlauf entlang des Mainufers. Für ihre Qualen werden sie mit großartiger Stimmung entlang der gesamten Strecke und einem atemberaubenden Blick auf die Frankfurter Skyline entschädigt.
