My personal invitation... I loved the movie.
In times like this, when I'm down and blue, I look for shelter in a cinema, where I can be transported to far worlds just looking through he enormous window of the screen.
I need to evade, even from myself.
I bought the pearly white square inserts at Deserres & the rest of the paper, including 3-fold piece at Michael's. Printed the photo on glossy photo stock and cut into square, and then hot glued everything together : )
Guests were invited to this Moroccan themed wedding in royal style. These unique invitations featured beautiful eastern influenced graphic, layered on embossed, metallic cardstock.

About the play:
It is connected with publishing annual books of poetry of local authors. Each year there is a different theme. This year it was "In an artistic labyrinth"
Is is entirely created by my friends and me - all amateurs. (But I was additionally in charge of set decoration and costumes)
The script is based on poems by local youths and authors, which are cut and mixed with
Polish classical poems of the turn of the XIX/XX century in order to form a plot consisting of poetical dialogues and monologues. It also contains a few songs correspondent to the plot. "In an Artistic Labyrinth" takes place in a nursing home for artists, who miss their youth, so they go down a memory lane to the greatest times in their lives when they were young, living bohemian life. As the plot goes on, their appearance changes (they see themselves as younger people, so they start looking younger). The staff of the nursing home are also important characters. They have to do regular chores connected with taking care of old people, only the people they are looking after are not regular at all, which often results in funny situations (Staff are the only characters, who do not speak poetic language). At the end of the play, all of the artists go back to dull reality and to their usual actions. The play is supposed to make people think about what happens with artists after their time of fertile creativity, when once rebellious and free souls are now closed in one building altogether. It is filled with humour, however, the general purport is a bit nostalgic.
