Do you crave authenticity? Get inspired at author Lynette Yetter’s Reading, Music and Q&A Event for her book, Lucy Plays Panpipes for Peace, a novel. Due to the adult subject matter- for Adults Only. Based on Lynette’s personal true life experiences, mature readers journey along with Lucy,
a panpipe playing SGI Buddhist, as she discovers the secrets to living an authentic life in a spiritual adventure from California to Peru and Bolivia.
According to Northeast Intune Magazine, "If you can imagine what air, water, fire, and earth sound like in music notes, then you can imagine what Lynette Yetter’s songs sound like. ... spiritual in nature and have a worldly richness ... makes humans one with nature through the vibrations echoing in the bamboo reeds ... Her music gives nature its own expressive sound."
Experience a musical prayer and hear stories of indigenous ceremonies, chewing the sacred coca leaf, and encountering U.S.-supported human rights abuses that lead to a life-or-death decision. Lynette will sign your copy of Lucy Plays Panpipes for Peace, a novel and personally answer your questions, before she leaves to continue her West Coast Bicycle Book Tour.
The author is literally pedaling her stories from Vancouver, BC, Canada to Southern CA (with help from public transportation) to inspire you to live your dreams.
“Lucy Plays Panpipes for Peace” is available at local & online booksellers and is currently being made into a movie.
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT
LUCY PLAYS PANPIPES FOR PEACE
"If you know someone with an itch to ditch it all and immerse themselves in another world, get them this riveting account. It requires courage and imagination for Lucy to have done what she did, but the main thrust of this story is that if Lucy can do it, so can you. And who can’t use THAT kind of inspiration." - Ellen Snortland, author of Beauty Bites Beast and playwright of Now That She’s Gone.
“I have often thought about you and your genuine love for our music and our people. In many respects, you are an inspiration to me! You walk the talk, and live in accordance with your beliefs.” - Margarita B. Marín-Dale, Adjunct Professor of Latin American Studies, American University, Washington, D.C.
