It could be suggested that the Black Swans in the background found the feeding habits of the Royal Spoonbills somewhat intriguing as the large white birds slowly made their way past the swans...!

And with such an unusual surname, a bit of googling revealed an Isle of Man connection - from a Round The Island report in 2014 on Manx Sailing & Cruising Club website "Polished Manx crossed the line an hour later but multihull Rice Pudding beat them in by 15 minutes, finishing at 2.30am. The small crew of Rice Pudding, led by 81-year old Norman Whewell, were rewarded with the Copland Trophy for endeavour."

Assurément notre passage en ce lieu a perturbé ce groupe (peut-être familial) installé dans un campement de maisons de bois au bord du lac. Mélange de curiosité et de méfiance. Notre présence fut tolérée, sans plus.

This autumn, the Noordbrabants Museum will exhibit the intriguing work of a young artist from Northern Ireland, Claire Morgan. After successful exhibitions abroad, including in Britain, this will be her first solo museum exhibition in the Netherlands. Morgan’s sculptures and paintings explore the vulnerable relationship between people and their natural environment. Morgan’s work has already attracted lots of international attention in Paris, London, Milan and New York.
Does anyone know what these marks are - rectangular mark with circle and two indentations (and a deeper hole bottom right corner of the rectangle). See next photo too - a different stone with the same mark.
The intriguing Common Raven has accompanied people around the Northern Hemisphere for centuries, following their wagons, sleds, sleighs, and hunting parties in hopes of a quick meal. Ravens are among the smartest of all birds, gaining a reputation for solving ever more complicated problems invented by ever more creative scientists. These big, sooty birds thrive among humans and in the back of beyond, stretching across the sky on easy, flowing wingbeats and filling the empty spaces with an echoing croak. (Cornell).

For all my staring at it, this intriguing rock art looks upside-down to me, a caterpillar-type figure. It also seems to have some heavenly symbols and a small map at right.
Any insights welcome.

Hamilton Gardens is a terrific place to visit is with its feature of many different types of intriguing and unique garden designs. Brilliant. There's this pond connecting some of the gardens. When passing I couldn't help noticing the strong and profound reflections created by the surrounding planting. It was a calm day so hardly any wind movements in the water. Not easy to find an intersting angel to shoot from (not made easier by the many people visiting that day) but I like the drama of the clouds. Nice quiet moment of exploring.
