Een intiem portret waarin stilte en kracht samenkomen is geïnspireerd op het werk van Peter Lindbergh. De zachte lijnen van het gezicht contrasteren met de subtiele scherpte van de blik, terwijl de hand een bijna beschermende omlijsting vormt. Het zwart-wit versterkt de puurheid van het moment en laat ruimte voor interpretatie: kwetsbaarheid of zelfbewuste rust.
Gefotografeerd met mijn Nikon Z9 en de Nikkor Z 50mm f/1.8 S, wide open om de intimiteit en diepte in de ogen te benadrukken.
Dit beeld is voor mij meer dan alleen een portret – het is een uitnodiging om langer te kijken, verder te zien, en even stil te vallen.
Portrait of my friend Lindsey in college, she wanted to be a model and I wanted to be a photographer so we work on a hand full of shoots together. I really love how simple this portrait is just using window light and a bare wall as a background. Would love to keep making sets of portraits like this.
