Today I was asked to do an interview with Radio Rijnmond 'On the Road' concerning the book I made about nature reserve 'De Kwade Hoek' in the Netherlands.
The interview itself took place in a cramped trailer with the rain pouring outside and a technician (to the left) practically baldeagling my face. And still I managed to sneak a couple of shots in between commercials. It was fun...

I was sitting having ice cream in Monaco harbour while this girl was being interviewed at the table beside me. Met her in the railway station later amazingly, she is Romanian with the most wonderful english like a native. Hoping to work on the boats this year.
Night filming on Dunsmuir St. just "west" of Burrard St., outside the Burrard Skytrain station and the Bentall office towers. Despite the efforts of a singularly unfriendly security person, I was able to determine that they are filming a movie about Metallica and these were scenes of post-concert riots.
No idea who this guy was.

Radio is more flexible than television; the interview started already in the escalator. Agnes from the radio's Science News interviewing Therese for a radio report on the newly described fungi Bacillicladium lobatum and Bradymyces graniticola. They are described from Kungsträdgården metro station in Stockholm, so far the only known place where the fungi grow.
