An intersection near Salvation Mountain in Slab City, California. It's a place that started out as a cooperative endeavor where people could live in peace and be as creative and weird as they want to be. I suspect it has become too much of a tourist attraction.
Taken at Fort Naco, Arizona. Built during the early 1900's along the Mexico-US Territory border during the Mexican Revolution. Troops were first stationed there in 1910.
I changed jobs recently and my new office is - as one would expect in Vancouver - slated for redevelopment. So it's lucky I snapped a few (iPhone) shots of the graffitied window near my desk. What fabulous abstracts it creates from the inside.

I've never actually used the M5 for long exposures so decided to test it out and I would say it does pretty well!
Das Tanzende Haus (tschechisch Tančící dům) ist der Spitzname eines 1996 verwirklichten Bürogebäudes in der tschechischen Hauptstadt Prag. Die Baupläne lieferte der in Zagreb geborene tschechische Architekt Vlado Milunić in Kooperation mit dem kanadischen Architekten Frank Gehry. Es steht direkt am Ufer der Moldau (Rašínovo nábřeží 80, 120 00 Praha 2) und dient als Bürogebäude für mehrere vorwiegend multinationale Firmen.
Der damalige tschechische Präsident Václav Havel, der über Jahrzehnte in der Nähe des zunächst brach liegenden Grundstücks wohnte, unterstützte das Bauprojekt. Er erhoffte sich von dem als Kulturzentrum geplanten Gebäude neue kulturelle Aktivitäten.
Das Gebäude symbolisiert nach den Vorstellungen der Architekten einen rationalen Dialog zwischen einem totalitären, statisch vertikalen Konzept auf der einen Seite und einem dynamischen, im gesellschaftlichen Umbruch begriffenen auf der anderen. Zudem erinnert es an eine Tänzerin im gläsernen Faltenkleid, die sich grazil an den Herrn schmiegt. Aus diesem Grund wird es oft auch Ginger und Fred (nach Ginger Rogers und Fred Astaire) genannt.
Der dekonstruktivistische Bau führte bei seiner Fertigstellung im Juli 1996 zu einer leidenschaftlich geführten, hitzigen Diskussion, die inzwischen weitgehend abflaute. Die Kritiker sahen eine Zerstörung des Gesamtensembles der nahen Prager Altstadt, auch sei durch die Überbauung des Fußwegs eine Unfallquelle entstanden. Die Befürworter lobten die mutige moderne Architektur, wie sie Prag bisher kaum vorzuweisen hatte.

どこからともなく渋谷の交差点には多くの人が集まってきます。
いま、交差点の周りの状況はすざましい勢で新しい街に生まれ変わろうとしています。渋谷を利用する人はもっと増えるのでしょうか。この交差点はこれからも人と車が交互に行き来するのでしょうか。

I was going through my archive of photos and stumbled across this one from 8 years ago. Originally shot using the iP4 with 645 PRO MKII app set at V50. I love the silhouettes, the vibrant sky and that layer of haze near the ground.

En France, nous n'avons certes pas de deLorean nucléaire à voyager dans le temps, mais nous avons des 2CV. C'est presque pareil, ça s'use beaucoup moins vite, et ça consomme trois fois rien.
Le voyage temporel à Alençon demande peu de ressources, au final.
Et les passants passent sans se préoccuper de cela, adoptant des postures très graphiques... Au plus grand bonheur des Foutographiques Foutographes !
