Older thing I played with. I have been very immersed in my music creation and not so much here. I do miss you all but Flickr has made things more difficult and my energies are now elsewhere. I find connecting with friends constraining here. clicking in then clicking out to go onto the next.
Oh well.

Autumn
I love days like this one when all I have on my agenda is to "get lost" for a while and wander the city freely. Today it is really cold outside and nice and warm inside, so I am going to "get lost" in a book that will take me on a wander through a city far away. Enjoy your Saturday wherever you wander.

The town swept up by Tsunami, Arahama district Sendai 津波に流された町 仙台市荒浜地区
Arahama district is one of the tsunami-devastated regions in 2011.
This town used to be the beautiful seaside town before Taunami.
Almost of all the houses were swept up.
One of my wife's relatives was one of the victims.
I introduce some photos I took recently.

I happened to have my macro lens aimed at this Crocosmia flower spike as an ant decides to photo bomb.
Side note: We were very lucky in Sunday's wild late afternoon bit of ~80 mph (129 kph) straight line wind and rain event. By nightfall more than 37,000 people were without power (now reported at 2,600) and there were trees and branches down throughout the city. I filled my trailer with maple tree branches, across the street, a very large limb went through the roof, ceiling, and there's water in their basement. Monday afternoon there are still major intersections reduced to four way stops.
I spent a morning in Roseville last week waiting for Marg to finish up with an outpatient foot surgery. Roseville is a large sprawling city with its roots as a bedroom community to nearby Sacramento. I drove around a bit and true to my nature was drawn to the less attractive side of town--the railroad yard. I'm sure there's an existential reason for this--kind of like thinking about thinking about how your thoughts tend to randomly intersect.
