Votiv-Church Vienna in late dusk.
This curch in Neo-Gothic style was built after a failed assassination attempt on Emperor Franz Joseph I (!) in 1853 to thank God for the rescue of the Emperor.
This also can be seen in the interrior of the church which is full of patriotistic and militaristic symbols.

Here it is, one of my favorite ships from the SW universe. Some of my followers probably remember the olive green version I made 3 years ago and since then I always wanted to make a proper model of the ship.
Model consists of around 1500 parts, side wings rotate and lock in place, has some interior (small and limited space) but it actually has more interrior than the Lego UCS. Rear door opens to allow the minifig to access his seat that rotates from landed mode to flight mode.
Thanks Gatis for awesome photos!
Slowly getting there. General shape of the ship is done, engines have been completed as well. Docking bay for the Phantom is ready. Need to add the rear greebling + one of the side panels. Still plenty of work for the inside of the interrior.
Very happy how the build is going so far.

Amazing design, if you have never been its worth seeing for sure. La Sagrada Familia.
Upper parts of the ship can be remowed to access the interrior.
For now the rooms are empty, will add some details in the real model.
I know that the real thing had 4 separate rooms for different crew members but in this scale I didn't want to force it and went with two larger rooms that could house all the crewmembers.
Finnaly some progress on my playscale Ghost. For more then a year I couldn't figure out the sloped sides but after some inspiration from the well known HUGE minifig scale one, stacked bricks turned out to be the best soloution.
Also, a small sneak peak of the interrior details. Reconfigured the rooms to be more acsesible at this scale.
Hope to finish it this year!

Shot in the cafetaria of the middle (office) tower of the De Rotterdam highrise. De Rotterdam was designed by OMA/Rem Koolhaas. Interrior design: Group A.

Who needs a snappy title when you can speak French?
OK, I can't really speak French, well not much more than a smattering of phrases & nouns...
This project is a culmination of techniques that I used in several seperate creations that I built for the Classic Castle Contest in 2007. Although it's far from perfect I feel that this creation represents where I am at the moment with detailed castle building. Most notably with SNOT work on castle walls, removable sections and (of course) a detailed interrior. All of this serves as a setting for several small scenes within the creation. I hope you enjoy it. It's been an awesome experience building this, it's always fun to push the building envelope =)

Kennin-ji is a historical Zen Buddhist temple in Higashiyama, Kyoto, Japan. It is one of the so-called Kyoto Gozan or "five most important Zen temples of Kyoto".
The temple was founded in 1202 by the priest Yousai (1141-1215). Yousai is known for introducing the Zen sect and the tradition of drinking tea into Japan. He is the founder of the tea ceremony and for encouraging the cultivation and consumption of tea in Japan.
Kenninji belongs to the Rinzai Zen sect.

I'm happy about every tip for lightning/photographing this kind ob objects. The material is PLA, a shiny translucent material. It looks a little bit like thin bones. In color photos it looks ok (with an orange/yellow shine) but on black/white it gets totally gray and low contrast...
The really friendly owner offered us a ride in this Porsche Panamera Turbo by Caractere Exclusive, and it was amazing! 620 bhp, a gorgeous bumperkit, wonderful interrior and Akropovic exhaust system is what makes this Panamera unique. And fast.
Last time I asked you about your opinion on a 50mm lens, I bought one a couple of hours before I spotted this beast.

The inspiration for this room began with a bedspread I saw at a store and I realized I could make it in Lego.
Trinity Church is a historic parish in the Episcopal Diocese of New York, whose church is located at 89 Broadway opposite Wall Street, in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan in New York City. Known for its centuries of history, prominent location, distinguished architecture and bountiful endowment, Trinity's congregation is said to be "high church," its activities based on the traditions of the Episcopal Church and the worldwide Anglican Communion in missionary outreach, and fellowship. In addition to its main church, Trinity parish maintains two chapels: St. Paul's Chapel, and the Chapel of St. Cornelius the Centurion on Governors Island. The Church of the Intercession, the Trinity Chapel Complex and many other of Manhattan's Anglican congregations were once part of Trinity parish. Columbia University was founded on the church's grounds as King's College in 1754. To some, the congregation epitomizes White Anglo-Saxon Protestant culture in the United States.
The current church building is the third to be constructed for the parish, and was designed by Richard Upjohn in the Gothic Revival style.
Trinity's first church was a single-story rectangular structure facing the Hudson River, which was constructed in 1698 and destroyed in the Great New York City Fire of 1776.
The parish's second church was built facing Wall Street and was consecrated in 1790.
The third and current church was erected from 1839 to 1846 and was the tallest building in the United States until 1869, as well as the tallest in New York City until 1890. In 1876–1877 a reredos and altar were erected in memory of William Backhouse Astor Sr., to the designs of architect Frederick Clarke Withers, who extended the rear.
